Kaplan College in Palm Springs strives to help students work towards achieving their career goals. This campus primarily focuses on career education in the Allied Health field. Admissions Requirements

Kaplan College has established the following requirements and procedures for admission. An applicant to the College must meet at least ONE of the following standards:

  • Be a high school graduate
  • Possess a General Education Development (GED) certificate
  • Possess a Home Study certificate or transcript from a Home Study program that is equivalent to high school level and is recognized by the student's home state

All courses are taught in English. Students must be able to speak, read, and write fluently in English. English abilities will be determined through the College's admissions test (if applicable), an interview, and completion of necessary documents.

Programs Offered

Dental Assistant: By obtaining a Dental Assistant diploma from Kaplan College, you can gain the knowledge and skills to perform front and back office duties including treatment room care of the dental patient, preventive dentistry, infection control and sterilization, taking dental x-rays, assisting with oral surgery, and more. This program is designed to help eligible students prepare for the Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) examination sponsored by the State of California Board of Dental Examiners and the Dental Assistant National Board after one year of experience in the dental field.


Massage Therapy: With a Massage Therapy diploma from Kaplan College, you can seek various entry-level positions or even establish your own business as a massage therapist. We provide you with a solid foundation of knowledge and skills in the areas of anatomy, physiology, and massage therapies. Our program is designed to help eligible students prepare for the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) national certification exam.

Medical Practice Management: The Medical Practice Management program at Kaplan College is designed to help you become a medical practice manager, medical office manager, medical assistant manager, or other similar position in a health care facility. In these positions, it could be your job to help keep a medical office running efficiently.
